I would not like to beat around the bush. We need surgery & not prescription.

Following are the suggestions/recommendations.

i.Remuneration comparable to MNC's offering to their employees to Policemen

than'K' you!

Since a long time I've been waiting for it. Finally the end has come. Rejoice Humanity!

[Hopefully, because the director has filed a case that the reason for low TRPs is that channel's marketing was poor]

The era began in the year 2000 [according to the data obtained]. Women had been glued to it since then. In the span of 8 long years I've been observing relatives & whomsoever I came across as a fan of soaps…

Women often shown in a pitiful situation which wins the heart of housewives. & relating themselves with the characters…

Commencing with kindness, humility, 'sanskari' attitude & atmosphere it passes the test & gets added to the favorite list of soaps of the regular viewers.

When the director & the writer is out of ideas they outsource the script to cameraman or spot boys/maids other equivalents & translate it into coherent local language with repeated visual & sound effects. Each page of script is stretched slightly lesser than the distance between Kashmir & Tamil Nadu & distributed among 4 weeks of Mon - Thu viewing along with inspired soap advertisements.

How can I forget the never ending generations. In fact my neighbor who was in his mother's womb last year told me that Yamraaj is really cranky about it & might lose it anytime.

Please I’m serious about it. :-I

If I could I access Bloomberg I can prove that the rate of women entrepreneurs in India since the year 2000 have plummeted significantly. I googled 'qualities of entrepreneur' & compared with our very own viewers/characters of 'K' soaps:

The reason for my knowledge is unfortunate glimpse of few episodes while having dinner at my relative's place. [I swear I don't watch them]

I couldn't resist suggesting the awful impact on their children [girls]. I saw a 6 year old girl child watching it with great interest. I also found that not only she knew all the characters of that soap but other soaps as well.

I was disheartened. I crusaded in probing the reasons why parents support or don't object their kids watching this disease spreading medium.

'My daughter should be prepared, armed & alert before entering into the new family ' got the reply.

I had no answer for this mistaken belief.

Being victimized by pride, social mishaps & failures deprecates one's life;
After introspection & contemplation somehow I managed to propound a theory.

Hope you find it believable!

B.A.B theory

Beauty / Affluence / Brilliance

Example ---

Beauty : Affluence : Brilliance = 2 : 1 : 5 OR any other combination

The above three gifts of the DIVINE in any combination creates a 'by - product' called pride.

I call it a by product because that isn't in our hands to control.

The brown layer is the pride. For many pride becomes necessary to boost up their confidence & to continuously perform.

However, it becomes perilous when the degree of pride increases & becomes vanity.

The layer of vanity becomes so thick that wisdom cannot penetrate. The other property of vanity is its by-products.

Once the person reaches the stage of cynicism its difficult to bring him/her back. Hence I hereby conclude that its very important to be modest. Because Humility is the hallmark of an intellectual

& Vanity is the hallmark of a bimbo/hollow head.

Chained by Disbelief!

Its 20 08 2008. China - 45 Gold, 14 silver, 20 bronze. US - 26 Gold, 27 silver, 28 bronze. India still struggling to perform whether its Olympics or cricket or tennis. I've heard that athleticism is not in our genes. We are short, stout & dark because of equatorial climate. My Environmental Studies [EVS] professor told me that too. So I asked since when are we studying that? He said since 3 - 4 decades. Hmmm

Since then we were chained by disbelief that we are not agile. Physical ineptitude might be a fact. However, it has made us stop trying.

Our dreams & wishes were first curbed by our parents & felt as if we are in dark room searching for an exit door, searching for our identity, searching for our prime goal of life.

Second, attenuated by our government & politicians who preferred to fill their pockets instead of promoting better infrastructure. Anyway, It’s a vicious circle don't want to start with it.

When I was 15 I wanted to join Tennis coaching camp. I had no intentions to make my career out of Tennis but as a hobby or as a lively sport. My dad said, its useless, expensive & moreover you kids are unstable & get induced by whims easily. Today you like Tennis tomorrow you would like to become an Astronaut. Now you are in college so you have to be consistent in academics to get a good job. Of course, I said in despair.

No doubt kids are capricious & indecisive. Because they are in stage of exploration, experimentation, analyzing their compatibility with things, people & naively assessing their skills & comparing with their peers . Walking on different pathways confronting various abundant horizons. Can't blame neither of the parties. Parents with their immanent protectiveness & kids with their subversiveness.

Some parents choose fame, recognition or money as goals on behalf of the kid who battles with perplexity all his childhood. I’m sure parents have their own reasons for it.

If your goal is fame then prepare for infamy, but if your goal is your goal then cherish the rising!

Now I'm 22 same age of Nadal. We have only few things in common. We both are south paw. Both admire Roger Federer. Nadal is preparing for 'ATP series' & I'm for my 'CAT open' in November. Well the obvious reason is to get into a premier B school to concretize my financial foundation for a secured future swallowing the temptation to be break free.

To be honest, the term 'financial viability' startles me because I don't come from an affluent family. Its evident that I shouldn't risk it for a game of racquet & ball.

Its time that I get my basics right for the ultimate 'CAT open'.

Generation Next!

Its prime time. News channels flashing India's honor in Beijing Olympics 2008 - Abhinav. Push any button on the remote you see him on TV. I feel proud. India feels proud. His home town boisterously celebrating while the journalist lines up at his place for taking interview of glorious parents of the Gold Medalist.

"I'm very proud. I provided all the facilities to him to make his dream come true. Moreover I provided my belief." said the father.

I think 'belief' was enough for the Gold medalist. Belief that my son would not fall this time if I take my hands of the bicycle. Belief that son's scorecard does not defines his character. Small six letter word yet it is prestigious & contagious for him.

"Belief is the ignition switch that gets you off the launching pad." Can't remember where I read it, but it surely is true.

Parental support whether financially or emotionally is crucial for making history. Otherwise rebelliousness is the only road for living the dream for the kiddo. Nearly every family in India generation gap exist. How do we define it? Well I wanted to be precise so I Googled it. Here's what I got -

"A generation gap is a popular term used to describe big differences between people of a younger generation and their elders. This can be defined as occurring "when older and younger people do not understand each other because of their different experiences, opinions, habits and behavior."

Pasted from <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generation_gap>

I think its inevitable. But can we minimize the gap? Yes. But who's gonna be the 'WE' ? Here? We - Kids or We - Parents? OR We - Both the parties? Well I'm not a father yet but hopefully one day I would be. But I'd always be a son. Can I make them explain that there are things in this world apart from 9 to 5 jobs? Well after approaching quarter of 100 years we are still deprived of belief. So 9 to 5 job for financial independence becomes our only option.

I read it in the papers that after the age of 40 our thoughts stops to evolve & gets ingrained into our skull deeply just like the taste saturating in the wine. I think we have a choice to grow, choice to be perceptible, choice to be psychologically agile.

We, the people of the 21st century can witness a developed India if we believe in our blood.

Belief is all we want.

Sowing seeds

It is true that you sown the seeds of attraction between us. It was unexpected enthrallment.

I watered the garden of love through act of kindness & gratitude with the sole intention to watch the seeds of love grow & evolve till eternity.

However, you inadvertently oblivious of your egocentricity never realized the magnitude of acts of empathy, responsibility, compassion & benevolence.

I waited, constructing harmony with my expectations. I waited with all my patience. Eventually, the honor, respect, admiration faded away. But love still prefers to stay.

I know it does sound like a whiny criticism. Probably it is. I know it does seem to be biased perspective. Probably it is. I'm sure you would understand the most when you become the author of such write up one day.

But I always wish wisdom to lure you through its radiance so that you never experience such dismal state...

Jaane tu ... Ya .. Jaane Na

On a busy Monday morning - 3rd day of its release me & my college pals watched the most awaited movie from AK production

Without any preconceived notions about the movie I was there in PVR for 70 bucks. I'd say thats a steal

It hit me by surprise. The simplicity of it made it worth watching. We, the audience identified ourselves in the characters of the movie. It was a rarity, it was real. Nostalgic

The amity & love portrayed by the lead characters Rats & Meow is most coveted.
The movie can be an alarm, a reminder for loners about their solitude.

While watching it you will know whats gonna happen next but still you would be eager to experience the enthusiasm. The narration of it makes it special.

The movie sows seeds of gumption in us to find one's special person, partner, best friend, love, alter ego.. & the list is endless.
